Gomora

One of the original "Ultra-Kaiju" from the classic Ultraman series (as well as appearing in most subsequent series), Gomora is a vaguely Triceratops-like monster with occassional subterranean burrowing habits. Gomora doesn't utilize any form of projectile or beam weapon (in the original series at least), but his sheer brute strength, powerful tail and forelimbs, sharp teeth, claws and horns were enough defeat Ultraman in a fight (the first kaiju to ever do so). The same Gomora was later killed in a rematch with Ultraman however. Gomora remains a staple of the Ultra series to this day, and one of the most iconic of Ultraman's foes. He's also teamed up with Ultraman more than once in subsequent versions of the character.
